Overview
Here are the ventures led by residents in Kisumu City - Kenya, who are struggling in life but who have the potential for improving their livelihood by working together. The area has over 367,000 residents, and a growth rate of over 30%. It is located by Lake Victoria and is the third largest city in Kenya. Over 70% of the people live in informal settlements in the region. Their main source of livelihood is fishing, farming, trade and other enterprises as they use their skills and resourcefulness to survive. However, 75% of the population earns less than 1 dollar in a day. To survive and get ahead people here help one another. With your support they will rise up and they and their families will do well in life. This will be the first Peer-drive project in Kenya. It will be the role model for others. We need your donations to expand the impact. Join us now. It’s simple and 100% of any donation goes to the venture. All is secured through PayPal on same services as GoFundMe (tax deductible in the U.S.A).
