About The Project

Priscilla said that after she receives the donation from CII, she will buy a fridge for the storage of fish. She also wants to get a means of transport that will take her from the place of purchasing the fish to the site of her business without incurring other costs. These two plans Priscila says will help her to achieve a lot in the sector of business and improve further. She also has added that she wants to buy a stove for roasting fish. Her plan with this business is to increase the level of consumption through the level of purchasing power. This will in turn create opportunities for many people working in the field of selling fish or those who intend to venture into the business.

Paying it Forward

She plans to put up in the near future a depot for selling fish. In order to increase productivity, Priscilla is ready to empower her family members to help in this business.

Priscilla Odhiambo is a widow. Her husband died a long time ago. She has six children. She is also a grandmother of two. She has been in this business for many years, ever since she was married. Because that's what she knows, selling smoked and dry fish, she has achieved a lot in terms of taking care of her family. She joined table banking, which has supported her business. However, she is seriously facing the challenge of refrigerating her stock for smoking fish. She is optimistic that upon receiving the donation she will purchase the equipment she needs.
