  • Sam ariganyira rears rabbits and pigs in Mahani 2, Kamwenge district alongside growing crops for food. Rabbits and pigs are on high demand in his community, and he has decided to do it as a business. He plans to expand this business by buying more pigs and rabbits

About The Project

Sam has been rearing rabbits and pigs for some time. When he received financial support from CII Project, he spent it to stock more goods for his business and expanding his poultry business, but the major purpose of these businesses is to facilitate/feed his pigs. He now plans to expand his rabbit and pigs by buying more animals.

And he believes that will create market for animal feeds from people who do maize milling businesses. 


Paying it Forward

Sam says that his expansion of his businesses will provide market to people who sell animal feeds in his community because he will be buying feeds for pigs. 

Backstory

Sam lives with his wife and their 5 children. His wife helps him in running their various small businesses. He is proud that that he has been able to start these businesses and they have enabled him to support his family. 

He is concerned that his community lacks good schools.
